Skip Hedrich RIP
« on: September 13, 2022, 02:08:56 PM »
Skip passed on the 7th, he was both fun and irritating to be around but always interesting. For those of you that didn't know Skip here is an interesting bio.

I read about Skip years ago and know that he was the real deal  His streamliner showed how skilled he was. Lived a full life. RIP

Sorry to hear about old Skip passing. I got to see him several time over the last few years when he would show up at the shop needing help with some project he was working on.

Race in peace Skip!

it was Don Vesco who got Skip into the streamliner....it was so great when finally he picked his blue hat

he had a great life and was very interesting in his engineering thinking...really outside the box...

Skip, it was great to knowing you as a wonderfull friend...RIP....you will be not forgotten

We had the pleasure of chatting with Skip many times over the years... he stayed at the 6 and chats were always interesting to say the least.  He had a lot of stories and info to share.

I crewed for Skip several events. He would work you like a Hebrew slave, but the results were usually pretty good.
Coming from a sprint car background also, Skip and I had a lot of good conversations about his racing past.
I will always remember my time at Bonneville with Skip and his wife Willie. Rest in peace old friend.   SB

I pitted next to Skip, Willie, the Daughter(?) and the dog the first year they ran the Streamliner at Speedweek. They were wonderful neighbors and I really enjoyed picking his brain.  I even became a part of the body removal/installation crew when I wasn't baking in the staging lines or stuffed under the Stude.
Skip and I were a lot alike except Skip had His shit together.... R.I.P. Skip
