CPS: Intercooler in Cabin
« on: September 17, 2017, 06:33:49 PM »
Howdy,

Reading the rules I see that production vehicles must run a full dash or fabricated replacement.  As such is there any prohibition to running a liquid-to-air intercooler where the passengers seat used to be?  I realize that I'll have to follow all the rules about protection of the coolant lines, sealing the firewall around the penetrations, and else wise keeping myself safe from the hazard in the cockpit.

Thanks

No problems running an IC in the passenger area.  Rules require that FUEL lines have extra shielding.

Thanks.  I didn't see a reason it wouldn't be allowed but wanted to check.
