Nancy -- 201.913 mph record on a production ZX15!

WWW

Jack Iliff made a few runs - was just off his record the last one.  Ronnie Roadster needed some quick change 6-spline gears -- we helped him find them on the radio so he'll run again tomorrow.  He didn't bring long enough gears.  Fred Dannenfelzer won the Bob Higbee Volunteer award this morning - and ran his lakester this aftenoon.   He broke in the middle mile and coasted through.

Johhnie Rouse was making a run on his monster 3000 cc HD and - turned out about the 1 1/2.  We saw him at supper (at the Salt Flats Cafe, which was pleasingly jam-packed) and he explained that the bike was running hard and strong when the fuel pump fuse went away.  Yeah, sure, Johhnie, blame the little tiny fuse.  Whatever -- good luck tomorrow.

The Turbinator made a solid 5-mile run this afternoon - mid 300s.  Nice run.  Nice. . .  Did I tell you that Marlo Treit said they'll run the car in the morning?  Les wants some 3-400 mph testing and chute deploy and such.  Seth Hammond's #77 AA/GL is still parked on the trailer, out front of the Quality Inn in Wendover.

Enugh.  There's a slice of apple pie calling to me.  So is Nancy.

Morning everyone,
Well we are on the way and will be there first thing tomorrow. Racing commitments in Michigan meant we had to delay getting to  Bonneville. See you all tomorrow. Stay safe everyone.

Good morning right back atcha, girls and boys. I'm here at the announce trailer and the qualifiers are at the line and going to run soon.  I had my pie last night.  That's enough on that subject.

The stream:  Well, we sure as heck hope to get it up and running today.  Lots of comm difficulties yesterday meant that I didn't get the system to work.  Now we've got service - hope to start the stream soonest.

Stay tuned -- lotsa good runs coming today!

In the meantime, Danny Thompson left the line strong but shut it down before the 1 and is coasting to a stop on the return road.  No smoke.  We're still doing return runs - not all that many of them this morning.

Rick Harden working on a 257 record right now - ran 266 in the four yesterday, about 20 mph down from yesterday.  249.275 last mile.  Might be enough - unofficial math says he did it.  1992 'Vette 477" motor A/BFMS
