I had the pleasure of walking the full length of the parade in Ishpeming, Michigan, and the one in Marquette, too.  It was cool - I got asked by quite a few girls to pose with them for a picture..  Hey -- sure, I'll hug a hottie.  How fun!  Maybe tomorrow I'll get the pics posted.  In the meantime you can wonder what outfit drew so much attention.

I bought the shoes at a world-famous clothier that specialises in street-smart garb for the discerning buffoon.  By strange coincidence, even way up north here we've got one of their exclusive outlets here in Marquette, Michigan.  Perhaps you've heard of the shop.  It's called "WalMart".  The shoes used to be $9.99 and would last one year on the salt and then be retired to more casual needs.

I wonder what they cost this year?
