This is good news. I generally use a scheduled Test and Tune to judge if the salt will be good for a Speed Week event.

Good luck to attendees for a for a fast and safe meet,

just a quick text from my pops out there said Strasburg's ran like 307 testing a new wing on the lakester and bikes are hot lapping. that's all I have but I'm going out tomorrow for the day and will post anything I deem exciting.
Records or parts, I didn't come all this way not to break something.

Pretty dinky meet, some folks have left due to the course conditions, lots of bike runs, one guy with a Ducati Supermotard lapped it all day. Plenty hot, over 100, keeping activities to a minimum. The Salt Flats Cafe is now pink and doing a great business, I don't think the move to town hurt them. The Speedway Cafe at the truck stop is now an Indian restaurant, haven't tried it yet.

I don't think Bob Dalton is here, is that Flashpoint? My main observation is the pits were a lot smaller this evening than this morning. As for the course conditions, I've heard that it is pretty rough in the first two miles and soft after that. Maybe someone that has actually driven it could chime in.

On one of the last of your FB pictures (in the circular lens view) I see what I believe is a FWD Cutlass painted like police car.  Does anyone have any info on it? I'm building a 2000 Eldorado and would like to speak to owner.       Thank, Woz
