They shut down about an hour early due to poor course conditions. They did not even get through the 1st round.
They will move the track for tomorrow.
Top time thus far is 251 from the Ferguson streamliner.

I gotta almost all-white page with some pushbuttons or something on it.  Is there a secret sequence?

This intranet thing has me cornfused.

Great pictures, including one of a roadster with a relocated fuel tank.

I heard there was a photo in circulation.

(Or was it of the roadster circulating?)

662 car on our second pass with the Tex t-101 trans with straight cut gears and dog shifters. Listen to the spur gears whine and the shifts are clutchless and clean. 152 Sat. 156 Sun. still rich and spinning the tires.

It sounds like a Waring blender making margaritas - and there's nothin' wrong with that.

I still say it's the prettiest little roadster I've ever seen actually racing.

Wayno - did you finally get around to crackin' it open this time, or are you still sneaking up on it?

Jim, your first run sounded fantastic.  Sounded like some pedaling on the second run.  I was just glad it didn't go around.  Not insinuating that it would or has a tendency to but the course was so bad and roadsters being roadster... well, you know.

Made my second ever pass in my RMR yesterday. Being that when I ran at the meet in October I wasn't a club member I got 0 points so my starting position over the weekend was horrid. I was one of the many poor souls who didn't get to run Saturday. Fortunately I got to run yesterday morning before the track got too torn up. Ran 153 mph. Was supposed to keep it under 150 to get my D license but got a little distracted on my shifts. Jill Shannon signed off on the pass after I explained myself. Went and found Dan Warner and he wound up giving me a C license. Wasn't going to argue with the Mayor. Im still planning on working my way up to higher speeds at the next couple of meets though.
