It's Show and Tell time
« on: April 05, 2017, 08:20:02 AM »
:-D  What the heck is going on that it's been pretty frickin' quiet here on the Forum?  Unh, is everyone so busy building that only a few can find the time to post?  Is everyone shell-shocked by (enter your choice of politics  -  weather  -  the kids  - your girlfriend - etc) and you don't have the urge to post?  And so on.  But you gotta admit that I'm right, so get off your duff and show us, tell us, about the ride you've got that you won't be showing us on the salt.  Hot Rod, streeeeet-only car, trailer queen, daily driver, yaddo and so on.

We know what you have with you on the salt, be it race vehicle or your support transporter-cum-school bus.  But let's see what you're hiding back at the house.  No, I don't think we'll wanna see your Subaru grocery-getter just 'cause it's got Dubs and spinners, okay?

Oh heck Mike..It was easy. First I placed the engine/trans. where I wanted them on the chassis table and then I whittled mounts from slabs of 7075 on the milling machine....

How boring would life be if we all liked the same stuff?.
There was this guy called Lee that sold cars at Broadway Ford.
I was in the showroom waiting for my buddy when this old lady
comes in and starts complaining to Lee about the new car she
bought.
Lee says "if you can't take a joke, don't drive a Ford". Need I
say more?. My buddies always give me a hard time about my
Fords.

BTW, there are a bunch of idiots here in South Africa with a class
in circuit racing called "Shelby Can Ams". They have Nissan motors in
the cars. I guess they don't have a clue. I think they need to be set straight.
