Race team names
« on: March 05, 2017, 10:45:22 AM »
Is there a spot on this site that has teams names - we are looking to name our race team and do not want to use a name already in use.

thanks

There's one I never thought of before - a listing of team names.  First of all -- no, I don't have one and don't know where to get one.  Second - many teams are established and use the name for years/decades -- some are short-time users and would make it a bugger to keep the list anywhere accurate.

Wanna ask us about the new name or do you want to keep it under your hat 'til you're well-represented in the records?

Hmmm - If I change the name to something different than "Milwaukee Midget Racing", I could free up that valuable trademark asset, sell it, and roll the extra 50 cents into my racing budget!

Back on topic.

If you let us know what name you are thinking about using maybe the members here can let you know if they have heard of any teams using that name.

Besides being a bunch of smart asses we can be helpful, sometimes.

I can make it easier. Any team  name with the wording or reference to White Goose Bar, including but not limited to; racing, roadster, truck, Wilson, Waters, Manghelli or Romero, are off the table.
