El Mirage speed trap
« on: February 01, 2020, 03:14:58 PM »
Is the Elmo speed trap 132 feet, like the exit speed trap at Bonneville, or 66 feet, like in drag racing, or "other"? I can't find it in the rulebook or race procedures. (I'm trying to do some modeling.)

Are the traps 66 ft before the finish and 66 ft after for a true speed at the finish line?

Probably not because course would be longer than 1.3 miles :-)
