So now that the focus is put squarely on the SLC office, how can we use this magnifying glass to raise the racer's profile in the public eye?

This might be an opportunity . . .

Looks like the hikers, hunters and fishermen get their wish for public lands. Wonder what Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah) thinks about the Salt Flats?

Here in AZ we have greater access to most of the State controlled land vs the Federalaly controlled land---

Fine and well, but the question then becomes, where is the line drawn between mining regulation and public land conservation?  Intrepid is looking to expand their production by increasing solar mining, and their most recent investor statement says they are looking at

"the Company's ability to successfully identify and implement any opportunities to expand operations to include more by-products and non-potassium related products."

I'm seeing mountains of "by-products and non-potassium related products" sitting south of I-80 heading into Wendover.

Zinke's largely a fish and wildlife guy, and that's great.  But conspicuously absent from the long list of organizations joining him during the signing of order 3347 was SEMA.

I know...if they cured cancer...many would find fault...

I basically passing on news...and for some expanding access to public
lands is a good thing...ie El Mirage and other potential venues..where it has
been nearly impossible...

the traditional Bonn Salt Flats LSR location is simply depleted beyond what
once was...and will provide fairly limited opportunities compared to the scope
of yester-year...

hopefully new areas will become accessible/viable...
