Thanks, Thomas, for the photos.  And now I'll tell the story of why it took this long to get them up there.

Remember WoS '16 - when lr.com streamed the audio but I wasn't out there?  The lr.com laptop and some other stuff was, and it still hasn't managed to get returned to me.  And so why do you care?  Because Pork Pie had given me these photos and I put 'em in the laptop.  And since I don't have it back yet -- well, sorry, everyone.

If you're going to Wendover in the near future and want to help me find it - get in touch with me and I'll fill you in.  No weapons should be needed for the return mission.

I said weapons, not a gun.  Choose your own method of enforcing, okay?  Lynda, perhaps, could just get really grumpy, like she'd do to a spectator that tried to drive around Land's End.  That'd teach whomever is the bad guy!

Pork Pie, to be honest I never go to the gallery. I already spend way to much time on here. Your photo work is way above most that appears on here and if I start going through the pictures I'll never get anything done. Photography is the other thing I take seriously and I do enjoy your work when it appears in the regular forum area.

Pete

p.s. - Awesome sun picture. I rated it.

I know, meanwhile there are nearly 2000 picture in "my world".....just an idea....every second weekend you pick one of the picture chapter...
...and to the Speedweek you got them all :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D
and from the 2016 season....that season will fill only 4 chapter.....

and by the way....for all...there is not only the El Mirage chapter new....also the chapter from the Speedweekend at the Mojave Airfield

it's sad to see the reaction of a member of this website.....

if this person didn't like me....that is this persons problem.....but is it necessary to be "aggressive" against the "Photo" chapter....(what a shame)....
and to manipulate the rating....

G

11....if you mean #11 from the El Mirage 2015 picture....David Haas, member of the dirty 2 club and 300 chapter at Bonneville was back in Jeff Shipley's Jaz'liner....and it was a while ago that Dave has run at El Mirage....maybe the official had forgotten that....but also...Dave had changed a little bit his weight :-D...since the last time he was in the liner....
so, some activity was in the inspection area and getting Dave in and out of the liner....

so, Grumm, if this was your question, this was the answer....if you meant a other picture....let me know....normally I can remember all the stories behind....

I'm trying to work out why he is not wearing his fire suit
Even if he was doing a bail out he should be wearing all his gear
