I read this else where last week. He has unfinished business out there, and the car has more in it also!

First time the clutch was the weak link, this time it was the U-Joint/Drive shafts wonder what will it be next time?

Man have I been "out of the loop" for the past few months. I did not know that DT had broken a drive shaft at Cook's meet!! From looking at the vids it did plenty of damage and he had some pretty stout retaining straps and structure to try to keep it under control if something failed. Just shows you, quoting an old college instructor I had, H.P Davis "When in doubt, make it stout!". Are there any videos of that run?

I don't really agree with the addition of the extra aero stuff added to the rear of the car, maybe it is the reason it was not as fast as it was at the USFRA meet in 2014 where he went 429 (I think). When you add fixed aero stuff the required hp to drag it along goes up a pretty fast and may compromise the additional down force developed. Just my WAG.

Rex, I think the outcome was that a tire blew and took out the drive shaft.  He really sounded good until he shut it down and stopped in the middle of the timed mile.  I believe when he gets another chance there is a bit more speed left in that one.
