Ice Racing in Sweden February 2017
« on: October 03, 2016, 10:40:02 AM »
I've been asked if I would visit Sweden for the ice racing for a couple of years -- and this year, 'specially since the salt kinda short-changed us on racing on the website -- I'm considering it.  What do youse guys think of the idea?

Why do I ask?  'Cause there's no way I can afford to do it without some $$ from someone that really wants me to be there.  I dunno if I'm asking all of you for a few bucks or hoping that golden cloud up there will dump serious bucks to pay for the trip.

The Swedes have kindly offered way more (hospitality, transport, etc) than I woulda asked them - so I'll pass it on to you.

This site runs on donations - I don't have a big set of sponsors that I could tap (although if one or three of 'em would care to step up I'd be tickled pink!).  And I don't have a big budget for a trip like this.  So I'll ask you first of all -- should I go there?  I'll sure as hell try to do some streaming while I'm there.

Whaddaya tink?
