If You have a friendly transmission shop close enough (You maybe miles out in the Oregon Desert) get used trans
fluid, buy an oil burning heater, Vent it well, filter the trans fluid Well (You may have to add some kerosene) but it
 works well and is cheap.

I have 40,000 btu hanging (gas) in my 3.5 garage .We live in Ohio ,and I keep it 40+ all the time. When I go to work out there I turn it up. It takes 20-40minutes and it's good togo. It cost little to run and I think it's worth it. Mines a Granger catalog, and had it 20+ years.
