Ah thanks Ron, he says when kicking salt.

I know that each person who is a volunteer at the salt wants each competitor and their team/support group to have the best experience possible.

To everyone in SCTA

My new car tech experience was great.
The inspectors were patient and clear in their explanations.
On the rookie course, the starters were understanding and helpful to me and my totally rookie crew.

Thanks for making my 55-year bucket list item a great experience.

I am a spectator…..I have been a BNI member for many years. Been reading about the Salt for more than 40 years…..I was at the 2014 rain out…2016 was my first meet….Incredible is an understatement…..The expanse of the Salt, the beautiful cars, the speeds, the crews and drivers so very hospitable. The 2 guys on 89.7 FM doing a great job keeping us informed. The sounds and sights at the long course starting line. The crew members at the starting line, each doing their individual job, coordinated, professional, and very safe. The starter, interviewing each driver, making sure the drivers were not dehydrated, belts tight….Safety first.., course clear, a gentlemanly 2 hand gesture that says the course is yours. The push truck does the job, gets the car to 50 MPH…the car roars to life, the push truck turns left, the car disappears…..unforgettable !!
I am hooked !! I will never miss another speed week…
