I/GT Honda Insight
« on: August 16, 2016, 01:04:40 PM »
Has anybody heard how Gary Gray is doing with his Shazam Honda Insight?

Should be competitive, how is it going?

Thanks,
Fordboy

Mark, they went 107 yesterday and they do not feel this new engine will get the record. I just saw Skin's post of 110 today.
REALLY NICE folks to talk to.

Caitlyn did the 107 and then had to leave. Gary ran 108+ yesterday and told me he made some small changes hoping for more.
(110) I watched while they waited at the line, few putt putts and seemed wouldn't start and was pushed off. I had to go back to my car so have not seen what happend after that. Nice familly.

Long story (broken shifter) won't bore you with. Struggling to find speed juggling tires for gear and intake ram horns for RPM band. Qualified last night by 0.09 mph! (shifter broke again, now welded again, will break again on return run this AM) hopeinf for some tailwind! Off to get in line. Will keep you posted.
