I'm living Speed Week vicariously this year. I really appreciate any and all efforts to live stream from the Salt, it can't be easy. I look forward to listening in when the streaming is up.

It still could come up a bit.  There is a bit of phasing going on... background hiss is very present.

Sorry the audio is not doing well. We are using SCTA equipment, not mine, and there is some kind of issue going on with Jon's laptop. We'll try to get it fixed for tomorrow.
DAMNED frustrating for me as I know we can do better!!!!!

Not sure if this helps, but... If I turn the volume all the way up, I can here people talking in the background.

Thanks for that Ryan. I've already left the salt and tomorrow I'm going to try my laptop instead of SSS's.
Stay tuned(as it were  :-D) and we'll see what happens tomorrow!

I had to put the battery of this MacBook into the fridge to let it shrink enough that it'd let me type.  Anyway --

I'm sorry.  The danged thing just won't go right.  We tried, and this evening, as I left the salt, I asked Ron Cohn to work with us on the audio mixer -- which is farkling the sound that's then being fed to the laptop, and that's having trouble staying with the SCTA ethernet so --

Mike Manghelli will fiddle with that in the morning, too.  And I've asked Chad from Banshift to stop by.  Maybe he can help us get a good-sounding stream to all of you.  Dang it, it's very great stuff you're kmissing -- I mean, hey -- I'm one of the radio pronouncers.  What more could you want?

Well, other than George running a 382 off the trailer and Danny at 416 back door - and the tastiest sound you've ever heard.

Really -- we're trying to get it to you any way we can.  Stay tuned - is all I can say.

Here we go for another day of SpeedWeek.  Nothing is new since last night (on the streaming front, at least), but we're gonna give 'er all day today and see if we can get you the sounds of SpeedWeek.  I sure hope it works right today. :-D

Stream is up and running. It appears that the laptop that SSS has is the problem. We are currently running on my laptop and everything appears to be working like at the ECTA / LTA events.
I currently have music playing and would appreciate it if someone would let me know if the sound is OK.

Return record runs will begin here in approximately and I'm assuming Ron and Jon will be announcing.

I would prefer to make horsepower, rather than buy, or hya it, regardless of the difficulties involved , as it would then be MINE
