Just remembered this post from the Doc years ago about the above Cordoba:

It sure is nice that my memory is slipping.

On the freeway at 70 MPH in cruise I gently slipped it into reverse.

The 18 wheeler that was tailgating me, as the smoke boiled off my back tires,

saw his trailer try to pass him. Now that was exciting.

It did not come out of cruise. It just buried the pedal against the floor.

Now that was a great feature.

I imagine he didn't believe it when the back up lights flashed on.

I did that to my grandfathers Buick Wildcat, reverse was where first gear should have been. Most cars were PRNDL, not Buick.
