Here's pics of the Bates suit. Pants go over the boots like bell-bottoms. No armor. Double layers at knees, butt, elbows, shoulders. Mesh lining.
Stitch holes remain on back where I removed prior owner's name (what a chore that was. I didn't know they made thread that strong!!). Probably sold originally as a blem because left pant cuff zipper is at the rear and right one is at the ankle bone (a non issue). None the less, they're Bates and some of the best you can find. The leather feels like a thick kid glove - very soft and pliable and comfortable.
