thank you for being my soldier
« on: June 24, 2016, 04:28:06 PM »
Do any of you remember the little asian girl with her dad at Bubs a few years back who would salute all us veterans and say "thank you for being my soldier" and then hand you her coin?

I think her name was Izzy or Rizzy.  Wondering if anyone knows what happened to her?

We met her and her dad at a couple of events.  Yup - we remember them.  Nope, we don't remember their names, either.

Rizzy as I recall.  Had to be 5 years ago.

Her name is Rizzy. Her dad is Bill Wieser from Lebanon Oregon. We met them at the NE Reunion a few years ago. I have his e mail if you want it.

glad to hear they are doing well.  She must be a teenager now!!

I saw her coin that she gave me sitting on a shelf and was wondering how they were doing.
