Maine event update
« on: May 17, 2016, 05:04:47 PM »
Few things I would like to touch base on.

First off, thanks again for everyone that participated in the Spring event. It was a great one and we cant do it with out the help from everyone.

Secondly, the last order for fuel will be going in June 26th. This will be for both events, Maine and Harvest. If you need fuel you need to order prior to the 26th in order to guarantee that you will have fuel.

All fuel is listed in 5 gallon pails. If you need more than that just make repeated transactions. If you want several different blends do the same. If you need 30 gallons or more and would like a drum contact Tim for pricing info. If you dont do Paypal contact Tim for payment info

And lastly. With the length of the Maine event we will be sticking to a stricter schedule with tech times, racing and so on. Simply put we dont have enough people to go around to "run out the field" every night and so on. It takes a large toll on us and we are not getting any younger. Now with that said if we have weather moving in we will most definitely be running the field out, longer tech hours, etc.

We will also not be teching motorcycles in your pit. We will have a designated area that you will need to come to. Again, just not enough of us to go around.

Stay tuned for a event map with locations of tech, reg, etc and a full schedule

See you all July 12th

So is the Maine event 5 days? How many entries did you get last year, I'm itching to go, had a great time a few weeks ago even though we had to leave Sunday morning.

Yes,  5 days of racing.

Not sure what you mean by extra entries?

Just wondering how many entries you expect in May you had about 50 would July be double that?

Typically,  yes but it is so hard to judge. So many things have an effect on the turnout. Weather,  location,  broken race cars/ bikes and so on

For example we had a team register last May and didn't show. They registered for July and didn't show. They didn't register for the fall event and did show .  Then this year they registered for May and didn't show.

That's just one of many  similar scenarios. That's the biggest reason we don't release a pre entry list.  We could show 100 pre registered and 70 show.

Just a reminder to all that the fuel order deadline is this Sunday, June 26th. If you need fuel you need to order!
