Saw this elsewhere, thought you guys should know as well.  Fred had a stroke.
If you would like to send a card he is in
Methodist Stone Oak Hospital  1139 East Sonterra Blvd.  San Antonio, Tx. 78258  Room 525
I talked to his wife Bonnie, she said he was not up to talking yet but improving every day.
Our prayers are with you Fred

Hey Fred,

Oh no!  People make good recoveries now.  The medical practice is much better than it was even a degrade ago.  Take you time and you will recover.

I posted this over in my ECTA Picture post thread:

Late this afternoon I was over at the bike inspection for some pics and was EXTERMELY GLAD to see this "young" gentleman.....Our very own Fred Vance!

As many of you know, he had a stroke back in March and is here at this meet. He is looking good and was told is doing very well but has a minor speech issue that is getting better day by day. He does have a bike at this meet that Brenda Sue will be piloting!

REALLY GOOD seeing him here!!!!!

Gregg

Oh, no!  Fred's got a speech issue now?  What happened - the stroke made him talk with a Texas brogue?

Good to hear he's up and at 'em.  Thanks for the pic.
