We saw that in the theater in spot that does "art" films. Good show.

Andy's (my next door neighbor) sister is married to Al Jardine, of "Beach Boys" fame.

Andy heard Rodriguez in July in Vegas--he opened for Al's "Surf Band"!

Thanks for posting that Mike.  It is a good story.  The scenes from SA were really interesting.  It is a country that we know little about.  It is a pretty place.

The old albums are rare.  Don't spill beer on it.

Sixto on CD was hard for me to find.  They had one in our local used CD store.  It is the movie soundtrack titled "Searching for Sugar Man."  These addresses are on the CD cover www.lightintheattic.net and www.legacyrecording.com

On that first site, click on "all", then on "R" and things are listed in alphabetical order.  All of Rodriguezes' music is available in some form.  I should have mentioned this in the previous post.  This is an interesting web site.

What a great story Mike, in fact stories within stories. I thought I'd take a quick look before going to bed & I just couldn't put it down, now it's after 13 o'clock in the morning & I have to leave for Utah in less than 4 hrs for sheet metal on the liner. Meh... I'll sleep at the wheel, the Riviera has cruise.
