As I anticipated when I started commuting by rail 55 years ago, the Long Island Railroad has been experiencing snow since 1859, and they still can't figure it out.
Progress: they have stopped pretending to offer "limited" service (limited to those stations with the highest income + political power), and simply announce that riders will be cheated out of the service they already paid for.
Maybe FEMA is their role model?

Feb. 24...weather girl says 9-12" of snow and 50 m.p.h. winds. Or as we call it....Michigan
