I just heard the news from Doug Wilson that long time Flathead racer Ed Newitt passed away last night. I believe his 808 XF/BGR was the last bonneville record holder to use a GMC blower. He was a member of the SCTA  Eliminators and a long time Outrider. He was a good friend and I will miss him.

Ed was a friend for many years and always very interesting to be with.  R.I.P. Ed
