I have driven an 8 N w/ a Sherman over/under in high/high....that was fast enough for me.
I`d never advocate drugs, alcohol, violence or insanity to anyone...But they work for me.

Didn't the JCB boys have a big tractor that they push started their streamliner with that was supposed to go over 100? I thought I had a picture but couldn't find it.

Pork Pie has lots of stories about that vehicle - and photos, too.  I 'spect he's posted them somewhere on here.  Maybe there's even one or twoof the tractor in the lr.com gallery under his name.  Take a look.

As I remember, the top speed was "classified" by JCB, but the thing was known to have gone somewhere in the lower 80s, I think it was, while on the salt.  It was quite the rig to watch, I remember.  I s'pose that if I were to dig out that old 'puter where I usta store photos -- I'd find it.  That's a lot of work.  See if you can find it easier.

I talked to the FasTrac driver, Collin Bond, when JCB was at the salt. He said that before shipping it to Bonneville they changed the rear end R & P to a 1:1 but JCB ordered then not to see how fast it would go! That was the official story, anyway...  :-D

It may have issues to get through tech, but this tractor looks like it could be a contender to the title.

I guess it would run in B/BGT (Blown Gas Tractor)???

This is just further proof that when males can't be left alone too long with anything mechanical unsupervised.

B/... pretty sure that thing is more along the lines of D/ or E/, C/ at the most
