Goodyear Landspeed Tire Fitment
« on: December 20, 2015, 08:31:01 AM »
Hello all,
I have been registered on this forum for several years & this will be about my second post.I usually find everything I'm after in previous posts made by others.
Which way do the tire serial #s face on the car?
I know the question has been asked before but I'm not going back in the archives because I think I have read about 400 tire related posts over the years
( hello JL222 ).
THanks in advance,Ian.
P.S. JL222"s build diary has been a huge help over time. Also Dynoroom,One run Bob, Dan Warner & everybody else who responds to posts.
Rex Schimmer & Fordboy make my head hurt, (not as much as Dolan used to)
Merry Christmas to all.

Carroll Shelby Enterprises, the Goodyear distributor told me the same thing.

"Jim:
The serial number would be on one side of the tire. It would start with the number 5 and be 11 characters long.
Example 5HOV MBO1 A5R
The white tag is the sequence number.
Direction of rotation would be serial number faces to the left on the front and to the right on the rear."

Unless it's crazy, ambitious and delusional, it's not worth our time!
