Seriously, with all the crap that goes on in this world I view landracing as one of the only escapes from all of the idiotic, politically correct, politically divisive, world full of drama, hate everyone but me internet.

Please keep your hands in the car at all times.
Do not look directly into the laser.
Not for use in nuclear facilities.
Keep loose clothing and long hair way from moving parts.
And for goodness sake if you don't have anything nice to say feel free to go outside and play hide-and-go-bugger-yourself.

Slim will know what to do but honestly I wonder about people sometimes...

Notice, I didn't say which side I chose because I didn't choose a side. I don't want there to become a side. There hasn't been one here before let's keep that precedent rolling.

If you want to argue over which transmission is better or the proper use of grade 5 vs grade 8...fine. If you have personal issues or axes to grind feel free to do it in private...this conversation is starting to make me itchy.

My original intent of this thread was for pictures I took at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum.
Now, it has turned into some kind of UGLY PISSING contest!

I was in Oshkosh this week when I received a phone call regarding this thread.

I was asked to step in as a moderator and delete the thread.

That I will not do, but I will lock it down, and as always, Jon has the power to override this decision, so it may open up again.

In discussion and discourse, being able to review what was said, when it was said, and who said it, within a context of the discussion, will usually point out the faults, strengths and biases of those involved.

If the thread is deleted, we lose these contexts.

As a locked thread, it's my hope that the work that went into gathering the photos to initiate it continues to carry sway.  I think they're too good to lose.

It's my hope that the taunting and bickering will subside - I'd like to see it end here with nobody losing privileges.
