We were near the end to run. Starting #207..saw some #'s in the mid 230's. Heard there were 160 entries. Course was excellent for us anyway, ran 158.2 on our 158.3 record be out tomorrow and hope to get it.

Skip Pipes roadster finally made it to 200 by running a 206 with Nathan Stewart driving. All therir troubles seem to be behind them as it went perfectly straight.

Jim Loving's Pontiac Firebird went 188+ 7 over his previous best in C/GC. Hopefully better tomorrow with change or 2.

Fergusons's liner went 270+  and Fogy had some fuel problem in the Robinson # 66 roadster. They ready for tomorrow too.

Enough cannot be said about Dave Davidsons 277+ run....JD

In September, our apprentice driver ran 192.987 (or so) on our 193.930 record.  Yesterday he ran 193.286.  Little steps.  Very little steps . . .

Stan Back, I hurd that many of the well funded teams are building cars to challenge that soft record.

I imagine it is a little soft.  We've had it over 10 years.  One of the "names" tried it a couple of years ago in a two-day meet -- which allowed them to spin twice -- doubling my spin record at, at least, El Mirage.

I'm beginning to think that it takes a little more practice on the dirt than the five miles at Bonneville.  We had the record (set four times) for six years at Bonneville before we were trounced in both horsepower and design.  But it's been a great ride.

There's always next year.

Fogie ran 245 this morning. First gear in my car got a "Non-Participant Award" yesterday.  I gave away over half a mile fooling with it. I finally got second gear and went for it to get some data and ended up running 136. Looks like I've got a Winter project or two. As an aside, I trounced the competition in the annual "White Goose Bar Chili Cook Off". The Perpetual Trophy (Toilet Plunger) is mine for one year.  With impending bad weather both at El Mirage and home (Utah), we decided to pack it in and make tracks this morning. As it turns out, I am pleased with the decision. The car and trailer are tucked neatly away in my shop in anticipation of the snow that's supposed to fall in a few hours. Wayno

The 2015 LSR season was weird, very few but successfull runs for us.
We bumped  the 650 pushrod fuel record from 1995 of 145mph up to 175mph

here is the video of our only one run last weekend.

Congratulations are certainly in order for Dave Davidson and crew.  They were running as a legal Fuel Roadster, too, which makes it even a greater accomplishment.  In previous months, I believe they were running in modified.

Yeah, BIG congratulations to Alp on that speed. 175+ with a naked 650 pushrod is unbelievable!!!!
