Jack Harvey

from the SDRC Facebook page
"Very sorry to report that we've lost SDRC and Bonneville 200-MPH Club member Jack Harvey. Our sincere condolences to Christine, Warren, Jody, his family and friends. Jack will be missed."

Jack was my hero. He took quite a few years off from Bonneville to raise a family. His coming back and finally getting a red hat was an inspiration to me. RIP Jack

I have just heard from Chuck Edwall of Jacks passing. Like many, Jack was one I read about in my youth about Bonneville. I could not have been happier when Jack made it into the 200 MPH Club in the families replacement modified roadster using their tried and true fuel DESOTO. Many "oldtimers" came up to Jack and Warren that day with their congratulations.
I was proud to be a SCTA club member with Jack. My condolences go out to his family. May my friend rest in peace......J. D. Tone
