December 9-12 2015 PRo Racing Industry Show in Indy
« on: October 16, 2015, 11:08:29 AM »
I see that there are more than a few of us that're planning on going to the PRI show in Indianapolis this coming (early) December.  Nancy and I will be there -- but never having gone before won't give you too many pointers on what to expect.  I've heard that there are a couple of batches of save the salt folks/groups/organisations going to be there, and I know that SEMA - the group that's already hip-deep in work to sale our racing place - is the Owner of the PRI, so I expect an effort will be made to spread further the word.

If you're going to the PRI -- wouldja please post so here so we can maybe get together down there.  You know, as a group to show off some cool race t-shirts and red hats and stuff like that.  See you in Indy.

Mark and I will be there.  I'm coming with some drawings and will be buttonholing some vendors.

I need to take a longer look at the series of seminars available, but the "Developing Custom Valve Train" talk is high on the priority list, and Ed Iskenderian will be a must see - I missed him last year, though met him in the hallway.

As to displaying hats, I'll take a pass, as I haven't earned one and still have hair . . .

Registered yesterday. Looking for my STS tee shirt. Maybe we could setup something around Rob's or Woody's exhibit to meet up?

I'll be there too, would love to catch a meal with you guys as I will be solo on this trip.  The downtown fancy places book up quick with all of the trade folks, but Indy has lots of good food outside of downtown.

You know, Jon - we missed Salt Talks in Wendover this year - maybe we should move it to Hooters in Indianapolis!

I/we've never been to a Hooter's.  But then -- for me, living with Nancy -- who needs to visit a restaurant to enjoy the feminine scenery?

One of the reasons guys like you live to ripe old ages is because you both have well developed self-preservation instincts.
