The Green car is in the driveway after a long ride home. Thanks to everyone for a very well done event. Now if I can find another 5 MPH over the winter.

Always good to hear that a member of the LRS family made it back home safe and had a good time.  Hope you can find that 5 over the winter.

I really admire you folks that drive your iron to the meet, run what you drove, then drive back home with it.

Thanks everyone for making this event a great one. We appreciate all of your support.

And yes, I am pretty sure the BMW went 201. Dont hold me to that though, I am beat and could be mixing bikes up

I'm not 100% sure but he may have hit 202.  Too many runs to keep track!

What a great weekend! Lots of new vehicles showed up, and lots of old friends showed up. We made all the runs we needed and look forward to next year.
Thank you one and all.

Thanks for a great event, my first ever land speed attempt. year and a half to build the 55 blown Triumph, spent all weekend working on it and thanks to the Greasy Gringo gang for your help so I could manage just one pass at 1:00pm on Sunday, the first time it had ever turned a wheel and got a respectable 119.6 mph. 15 hour drive home to Toronto, 900 kls normal and 300 kls in 2nd gear, blown transmission in the truck but i'm happy, see you next year.
Ray.

I just want to thank the LTA for putting on a great event.  Everyone was just great and I really appreciated the emphasis on safety and fun.  We got all of the runs we wanted and even hot lapped on Sunday.  My complaints were that I thought Maine would be cool, instead it felt like Arkansas - 84 and humid.  On Monday in Freeport it was 94!  Also, we never saw a moose.  We saw hundreds of signs telling them to cross the road, but they never did.  I am looking forward to a return next year.
