November Rookie
« on: September 04, 2015, 09:23:28 AM »
I run a Street roadster at Bonneville.....When it is available.  I am planning on attending the November event and it will be my first time as a driver.  I attended an El Mirage event back in 2010 and was on a pit crew, but have never driven there.  I am also an SCTI Car inspector, so I plan to fill time by helping.  As a Rookie I understand the two RO meeting rule.  Any advice on how to get my vehicle on the books.  I am currently not affiliated with a club (homeless per say), but adoptable and play well with others.  Live in the Seattle area so proximity appears to be an impediment.  I am sure the info I am looking for is on this site, looking for the quick and dirty heading check on the basics:  how to get vehicle registered, for Gas class is fuel available, the one or two things I need to know, but not familiar enough to ask.  :|

You should find many of your answers in this current thread (September El Mirage):

There is no Pre-registration necessary for El Mirage and ERC Gas should be available from Mike Cook (Cook's Motorsports).
Make sure to call him in advance, his ad is in the Scta / Bni rule book.

There's a significant difference between going to el mirage to make runs and going to go after a record. Which will you be doing?
