It will taste all the better for "relaxing" in the cooler for that extra few months. I look forward to tasting it with you.

Just arrived in Colorado last night at 10:30 P.M. after a marathon 3 day drive from Nova Scotia, 2400 miles plus a 2 hour ferry ride.  If my wife hadn't checked her facebook account on monday morning at 7 A.M. to get the cancellation notice just two hours before we left, I would have unknowingly hauled my fully loaded trailer and bike here as well, so I guess I need to be thankful for that.

To those who would have made this year their first competition at the Flats, including my friend Doug (Doug's Toy), I am truly sorry.

Tom,
If you were planning on coming by NRHS to say hi, just an FYI; we have moved:

NRHS
770 N 2nd St
Berthoud

970-532-3344

We will be taking an EBR to the CO mile labor day weekend.  Are you thinking about doing that?

Thanks for the invite, Dan.  We arrived here wednesday night and I've been up to Doug's for a few days helping hime finish his bike.  I'll definitely get up to see you and Lucille and maybe at the Colorado Mile, but only as a spectator.

As soon as I get my lazy backside up and going I'm headed east to the BSF.
I've got a week off with nothing to do (at least nothing I want to do).  I'll get some of those cool sunrise/sunset pics of the bike on the salt and make vroom-vroom noises.

Right about now the tech-lines would be LONG and hopefully the fuel-depot would have been busy..................Alas.........my BMST bikes are parked in the garage waiting to go to a bike-show in a few weeks..............and I spent my travel-money on a van-load of parts for my CL72 and CL77 projects.

...................and today I was planning on clearing tech-inspection to certify my motors for speed records :-D :-D :-D

Then hit the road and try and get to the AMCA Chief Black Hawk event in Davenport, Iowa, by Friday evening. So, while dreaming of records yet to be accomplished, I will still get to go to Davenport :-)
