SHIPPING CAR TO SALT LAKE CITY.
« on: August 11, 2015, 07:11:33 PM »
Planning on returning to the salt in Sept. In 2011 I drove out from Chicago but this time I will be alone and time is against me. I'm considering shipping my Firebird by regular transport but I have no address for delivery. Then I was planning on Flying in on 9/11 and picking up my car. I will be running in the 150 club. Anybody know anyone who has done this or any ideas?
No trailer ran 135mph at the World of Speed 2011 see you in 2012 in Ohio and back at Bonneville at the world of speed going for the 150club 1979 Firebird T/A White . Ck out YOU TUBE. KERRY AT BONNEVILLE. Didn't  make 2012,2013,2014. ECTA in Ohio 2012 trans went out and 2013 fuel problems . Still trans and fuel problems. Finally all looks good. Ready to drive (no trailer) 1500 miles to Bonneville and It's cancelled. NEXT YEAR. SEPT. ECTA RAN 144 MPH. GETTING BETTER. 2021 Ran 152 fulfilled a ten year dream to make the 150 club.

Better check with USFRA first as with the cancellation of Speed Week the USFRA meet may be too overloaded this year to handle the 130-150 cars at the event.

Thank you very much. I will probably drive the 1500 miles. I can't seem to get a straight answer from the shipping companies unless someone can recommend one. Also I would hate to put you out. Thanks for your reply hope to see you at the salt
