 Bob Giovanine was a good friend of ours. He built a similar car and raced it in the 90s at Bville and El Mirage.

  Son Kurt still has the car, but 25 chev engine was outlawed because of steel plate bolted to bottom of block.

  Around 1998 I had a petition signed by several fellow El Mirage 200 mph club members ''80 yrs old and still racing'' to have Bob inducted into the Dry Lakes hall of fame.
  He didn't make it then [ a lot of deserving racers in line] but maybe some day. Bob has since past away.

  Anyhow I had the petition framed and gave it to him for his 80th birthday at Bville.
