2015 Maine Event Live Audio Streaming
« on: July 22, 2015, 07:31:35 PM »
Since this is my 1st time streaming from the LTA, I am unsure when broadcasting will begin.
I'm assuming it will begin after the drivers meeting on Friday and then around 7:30 AM on Saturday and Sunday.
I will update this thread when I begin the stream.

I would like to say thanks to the LTA for allowing us to do this and Jon for supplying the Wi-Fi hotspot/Meridix software!

If you have any thoughts, suggestions or comments, please post them here! As we have said before, this is a continuing experiment.

As usual, I hope you enjoy,
Gregg

Thanks Ransom.

I was about to say we are live and you beat me to it!

We should get underway shortly.

But all I hear is the starting line without the benefit of the announcer...no number, no results.  :(

The gain could come down a bit.

I heard "car is smoking a lot" and then "roll fire and rescue" then the audio cut out. Hoping all are ok.

Ed Brace had a rear axle lockup which smoked the tire and caused it to blow.
I heard he went off the end of the track and is OK.

I've seen the feed come as well. Must be the cell tower location.....Nothing  I can do.

Thanks for providing the audio feed! I was bummed that I have to work and can't make it this summer. The feed has now stopped for about a half hour and say's "Off Air", are you having problems?

When I raced there in 2009, the only cell tower that I could reach while at the track was in Canada.  International Rates!

Meridix software did drop. I just restarted so it should be good to go. You should have the Listen Live again.
I'll keep a closer eye on the laptop.

Things are quite now as they are doing a quick course sweep.

Down for cleanup as Mike Reichen lost an engine in his Mitsubishi EVO.
