Seven Point Safety Harness
« on: December 30, 2015, 06:36:43 PM »
Earlier this month I was looking for a source for a 7-point safety harness and I contacted a number of manufacturers. Although Simpson and RJS showed them in their on-line catalogs, I was told on the phone that they had discontinued their 7-point models. Other manufacturers did not carry them either.

Fortunately I contacted Joe Hansen at DJ Safety and he did have them. I told Joe exactly what I wanted (pull-up adjusters, Camlock, 7-point, 3" belts, bolt-in, etc.) and they arrived here UPS today. Great service, good product, & fair price-- thanks, Joe.

I am big on polyester belts.
Nylon belt have been outlawed in FIA rally and Formula One events for years. Nylon belts have more give but after initial impact you're now loose in the seat. I.e. they stretch but they do not rebound.

DJ does have great customer service though. They are definitely one of my favorite vendors.
