Sid... shipping into the US and the customs policy in the US is way different than all of Europe and most of the rest of the world. When we shipped Max's motors to Germany it cost Hartmut over $700 in fees just to be able to recieve them to work on them.
the German custom tried to charge me tax for the two record trophies, which Stainless had sent (thanks again for this - they are looking so great in the show case)
they asked me for the order, bill or kind of invoice, paper of the money transfer....it needs me 45 minutes to explain....you can't buy them....there is no bill....no payment....you only get them when you have set a record at the Bonneville Salt Flats....
Also....about 25 percent of the "worth" which was sent, you have to pay custom declare tax....depends what it is...there will be add another tax.....and sometimes they are not using the cost in the states...the tax are based on how much it cost in Germany.....I call it, printing money
