All's well, just the usual lube oil sample prior to my normal periodic maint. check next week, even left 'em one of those random coolant samples  :-D

A Loring safari this month hinges more on some life stuff scheduling curve balls I'm seeing in this at bat.

I'm waiting to hear if Speed Week is being canceled, guess if I can't run three miles flat out, that 1 1/2 miles is the next best thing.  According to the Salt Lake paper, they are supposed to decide tonight.

If it's in the paper it must be true... don't hold your breath... I personally am continuing to work on my junk for SpeedWeek.
If they call it, then I'll work for World of Speed.

I'll be there with the 600cc APS-PG motor partially streamlined this year (ran the open bike record last year) trying to push my personal best record up above the 150 mph run at Bonneville last year.

And with what is going on with the Salt this year, we could see more competitors this year than ever before. Any chance of getting the second runway going for licensing and slower vehicles?

If the weather in Maine has been like Nova Scotia this year, it might even feel a bit like Bonneville.
