Guys and gals..........many might not realize it..........

the upcoming BUB 06 meet...........is likely gonna
feature some  MONUMENTAL HISTORICAL runs.........!!

probably 3 bike liners all going to go well over 300........

and barring changes in conditions (Mr. Higgins is going :):))..........

the FASTEST ever bike record will be established.........!!!

the FASTEST ever siton bike record will be OBLITERATED.....!!

the fastest ever Production record will tumble........

the fastest ever normally aspirated bike record will fall.........

Mike Akatiff........HAVE FUN I know you will.......Top Oil and
the motorcycle world will be rejoicing in your runs.....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sam Wheeler.....love ya.......I will be pulling extra hard for you.......
(I will need my hat back though....:):)...please bring it to BUB....
it was an extra special gift from Freud.........but you deserve to
wear it proudly........as "Kawasaki....Worlds Fastest"............for now.....

Larry Forstall's efforts and machines will capture all the history
listed above minus the streamliner record.........LARRY...........dude
your awesome.........YOUR TIME HAS COME.........!!!!!

my little bro will be trying his damndest to make some thunder......and he
will definately do that.........

Here is hoping for good traction......so we can get the awsome power of our sidecars to the ground.
This will also be the first time one will see sidecar passengers back in the chair on the salt since 1987!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well Jon, I'm still struggling with the nitro. Haven't broken the bike but I also haven't got it to really work. I'm still trying though, and we'll be there regardless, arriving Saturday afternoon. The other bike is done and in the trailer. Judging by Joe's post, you must have your bike fixed? Good luck to you, we'll be cheering for you.

www.cyclnews.com reports this morning that Speed Channel will be on the salt during the BUB event to do a piece on Chris Carr and "Seven" the BUB liner.  This year at the BUB event could be one to tell your kids "I was there".  I was on the salt in 1990 when EasyRider set the current record and this could be the year we see the record set more than once at one meet, man I can't wait !!!

Joe you sold me, I'm going.  I told my wife that this might be a meet like World Finals 2 years ago where I later kick myself you know where for not going.  She said that life is too short and I should go, so I'm going :D .

Here the last couple days I finally felt rested up from Speed Week and it took me a whole day this year to clean the truck and teardrop, but I think it will be worth it.

I'll drive up Sat. and if there is anyone that wants a ride between Blanding and Wendover let me know.  I can get you there, but not lodge you.  One person snoring in the teardrop is enough 8) .  I'll probably have to leave for home Tuesday night unless there is some real drama unfolding.

Even if no records are set I'm sure it will be worth it, but Mike and the rest of you I'm expecting you to be on the top of your game and make some great runs.

Aaron,

We just the bike back together tonight. Motor is back together , new turbo (not the same one but should work), engine is in, and we just have some small things to do in the morning and hopefully start up around 12 pm. Go thru for final checks add the body work and put in on the trailer.

We will leave either Friday morning or friday late night have decided yet..

Get that nitro working, if you need some info give me a call. I have people you can call..

Jon,great news. I finally got mine to the dyno today after miscues all week.Could never get it rich enough with old Aerocharger fuel system,new one is actually too fat now.But dynoed well and I am just a jet change away from complete.
Terry P fired up his big motored Blast this evening for the first time and will dyno tomorrow,sounded nice.So we should be bringing 3 bikes!!!
Now I just have to pack----

Got the Gixer running strong, we dynoed some impressive numbers, hope we can get it to the ground.
