NHRA requires gloves with kevlar in the palms for their faster classes. All the ones I can find look like they would hold up really well and don't seem too expensive.

I wear Harley Davidson fxrg gloves here in the UK , no perforations ,decent length cuff with a cinch strap, full leather with knuckle protection - not exactly cheap but neither is new skin for your hands ! (and I don`t just wear them on a Sunday ride lol- used every day in glorious Scottish weather )

Hey Slim, maybe we need a member from the SCTA on safety as a member here?.
There may already be but i think the personal touch is better than the rule book in this case.

An update on this. The new gloves I purchased didn't pass tech because they had small vents on the knuckles. Turned out the ones I had originally purchased passed just fine. Worry for nothing I guess, glad I brought both pairs.
