Monte, your earlier post indicated the USFRA meeting had been changed to the 5th of Aug. Did I miss something? Thinking I may drive up to attend if it is still the 5th. Thanks.

Roger, our regular monthly club meeting will be held on August 5th.  Tonights meeting is just club officers getting together for some decision making.

I had entered for SW and now I have done a ton or two of work on the bike we were going to run. It would be nice if WOS goes as planned and there is enough room for one more entry.

Monte:

I just got word from Burly Burlyle (the VW guy) about the USFRA board talking last night about what's next in the decision process about this year's WoS.  I'll let you tell us what was said at that meeting - so I don't go spreading information that didn't come straight from the horse's - - - unh, mmm, the horse's mouth.

Yeah, that's what I meant to say, right?  The horse's mouth?

Please tell us, okay?

There were several things discussed last night.
First: We are moving forward with plans to hold WOS.
Second:  There a several contingency plans in place depending on what conditions and length of track(s) we can make.
Third:  The "go" or "no go" decision will be announced just prior to September 1st.
Fourth:  Unless otherwise notified, those who signed up for the Test-N-Tune will have their entries rolled over to WOS.
Fifth:  We are currently accepting additional entries for WOS.  Just be patient, Ellen is working as fast as possible to     process the additional entries.
More information to come soon.
Monte.

The other items discussed will need to be brought up at next weeks club meeting before being announced generally.
