Fred, That is the plan. But you know the quote, "Man plans and Mother Nature laughs".  We will do everything in our power to make it happen.

I'm planning on running the 130 club. I called the number on the entry form, spoke to I'm guessing Ellen, and she told me then I didn't need to pre-register, just show up. Now, with a cap on entries, should I register for the 130 club now?

If Ellen told you to just show up, then do that.  I did that last year and there was no problem at all.  Tech first, then head over to the registration trailer.

I should clarify, I spoke to her in June, well before Speedweek was canceled. Things could be different now.

Same story as last year.  I showed up late Friday and tech'ed Saturday morning with no waiting in line at tech or registration.  I spent more time in line for a burger, but it was worth it.  Mmm...

Did USFRA cap registration last year? Please don't think I'm discounting your advice, totally not the case. I didn't follow the aftermath of Speedweek's cancellation last year. I just want to be sure about what I need to do to run this year.

Good point, I don't recall if they capped the class racers last year or not.  I'd give Ellen a quick jingle on the phone to double check.

SpeedWeek was cancelled last year also. So I would guess they had a fairly large turn out.

Regarding the 130 club;  I also decided to check with Ellen, if the situation had recently changed.
She said they were not too worried about those entries, as we will have a separate course.
The constraints might happen with long course entries.

Interested spectators may want to hang around for the Mike Cook WFO
event starting 2 days after WOS.

A good working CB is required.

Jim, thanks for checking and posting. I'm still working on the car, so I'm hesitant to send in the entry fee in case I don't make it.
