A list of unfaired motorcycles/riders over 200 MPH

Several folks have been over 200 naked on a variety of makes, engine sizes, power-adders, and the list would be too busy. He needs to go 234 on the V8!  Dean

If he has not read this I will make sure Zef knows what the next speeds have to be.  The V8 was hardly run in on Sunday last. It has no turbos yet.  Thanks for all that you do Dean to promote speed racers efforts.

Now Robin you know we are talking about the bikes not the rider or the track crew.  Maybe you went to Black Rock in '97 for something other than Thrust SSC and learnt from the people attending Burning Man! Enjoy Italy if you do go there soon.

With the kind help of Scott Guthrie, who reached out and confirmed 200+ clocked miles that contributed to 199.XX mph records, two more pushrod riders have been added.

Vance Breese, who went 201 on a Harley in 1985, and Warner Riley, who went 205 on a Harley in 1974.

Does anyone build and ride 200+ naked Harleys these days?

 Some of the older speed records seem a lot faster than you would think possible... Were conditions better then ?

Bob Moreland went 218.5 on our turbo naked Busa at El Mirage.
Doug Perko went 225.4 at Bonneville on the same bike at Bonneville.
Bob Moreland also ran 208+ mph at El Mirage on his twin engined V-Twin bike...would need to look in the book for his record speed.

I was helping him that year. He went over 200 in both directions, but not in the same mile.
I have the timing slips somewhere around here....
He was using the motor out of his street bike

Vance Breese held a SCTA record of 199.954 in AF-1350, set in 1985 on a Harley. I imagine one of his timed miles was over 200- would anyone have a clue where to find this info? Google fails me.
