Cliff Daly just missed at 197 mph on a naked ZX10R on spray.   The clutch was giving up a bit.   With a little work he will find the 3 mph he left on the table.

I thought Warner Riley went over 200 on his Harley back in the 70s. Anybody know for sure?

     He went over 2 partially streamlined in both '71 and '72.  I am unsure if he ever ran over 2 in an unfaired class after that.

yeah, the best Warner did was 199.500 unfaired I think in '73 or '74. still very impressive for a na pushrod engine.

Warner's 199.500 run was in 1974 in the M/AF 2000 class.

Another new machine to add to the list is the Eisenberg V8 prototype road bike.  At Elvington on Sunday 16th August Zef rode his new bike unfaired to 206.228 mph in full road legal (UK) trim and with not too many miles on the odometer, ..... indeed his first run of the weekend was at 204 mph and change.

The event was the Elvington Standing 1 Mile speed trial, linked with the World Wheelie kilo event.

Thanks Malcolm, Zef Eisenberg is already on the list at #12, with his 233mph speed on his turbine bike earlier this year. He is the fastest non-Hayabusa, which is significant, as the big Suzuki makes up 70% of the list. best, Dean

I thought the use of piston power should be acknowledged with Zef's latest V8 normally aspirated bike. He has posted pictures on his own fb pages - the engine is a thing of beauty.

I have been fortunate to witness most of his recent speed passes, on the Turbine bike, including those on Pendine Sands.

We (UKTA) have another meeting in September where we may see some more 'naked action'.

I appreciate his innovation and energy, the V8 Hayabusa is absolutely beautiful. For this list, I don't think mulitple entries per rider is workable. Several folks have been over 200 naked on a variety of makes, engine sizes, power-adders, and the list would be too busy. He needs to go 234 on the V8!  Dean
