I just wanted to say thank you to all the ECTA officials and volunteers that helped me join, license and have a ball. Also a HUGE thank you to all of you at the track who made my wife, son and I feel like part of the family. In all the things we have done we've never met a friendly group of people. My wife truly isn't fond of this venture but her seeing how nice everyone was made it a little easier for her. Also thank you to all you who answered my questions on the forum so I could make it through tech inspection with no problems.
I didn't come anywhere close to how fast I wanted to run but I guess 183 isn't terrible for a first try. Bike only had 440 miles on it when I showed up and had never been really shifted it at a full on boogie so I didn't know I was going to have shifting issues. Oh well, after the frustration went away for blown shifts I realized I had a huge smile on my face.
