You need to bring your own water but the last few years a refrigeration trailer has been on the salt with bags of ice.

The grocery store in town also carries dry ice if you need it.

Ron--As you go out the access road to the Salt, there is a Truckstop/Restaurant. The Mexican food there is good, there are showers, and there is always a large truck full of Ice to buy.....

The truck stop at Exit 4 would like you to be a customer to use the water hose.  We usually fill up the suburban with gas and ask if we can fill our barrel with water.  They are OK with that.

We buy dry ice at Smith's and ice from the trailer on the track.

There is a faucet at The Pilot truck stop; and also one at the Southeast corner of the Smith's gas area.
I asked the attendant if there was a problem using this; and was told "it's OK".
Might be wise to ask first, as this was a couple years ago.
I don't know how our drought has affected Wendover.
The Pilot can get a line up with folks filling RVs etc.

Thanks everyone for the info. My bigest concern was water but now I know what to do and I certainly will ask plus buy gas and supplies from the location we top off at.

If you're staying at one of the casino's, most have an ice machine on each floor. We stayed at KOA camp site (they also sell ice) but my mates who had more money than me, stayed at a casino & we made daily morning trips to visit him, & happened to be carrying a large "Cool-Box" which we filled on the way out. :-o
