I'm just wondering how much these suits cost as I can't find prices on the websites.

Check with Stroud. I found he has the best price. I paid a little over $600.00 for mine about three years ago.

I bought a new "Leaf" at the Long Beach Ca. HiPo  swap meet for $350 about half price. Check Simpson, Impact, Diest, RCI, Stroud. Call there main offices. That's how I bought my first Diest, it was one of Gary Becks turned in Drag Suits.  Sold it for $200.  Make sure you get prices on the proper boots and gloves too. I also bought a 3.2A/15 new Simpson for $150 Fits a 6' 3" 220# (that one I need to part of the leg into the boot  :)  :) ) Good Luck

Hey all!
Whats the legal SFI rating for SCTA? And... Where can I get a "Tailor made", because I'm 6'5", and 275 pounds.. I've only had a chance to look in the Speedway catalog so far, so I've not done a lot of research. Anyone got a lead on a suit that would fit someone that has knuckles dragging the ground?  ;)
  Thanks... Smitty

Hi Folks, I'm 6'8" and had my -20 suit done by Deist. Top quality all-custom suit, about $1000 6 years ago. Simply the best.

All the listed manufactuers will make one, custom made is normal. Look at the Diest website to get a size chart. Your size may be alittle more expensive.  I'm sure all the others have websites because I've been in some of the with a search. Good Luck

I had Deist make me a suit last year and they did a great Job.  You can get all kinds of things that you want.  I would recomend Deist.

Thanks for the input ,seems like all the manufacturers are priced about the same give or take a 100 bucks.Diest or Simpson are what I'll end up with.

One last comment. Bill Simpsons new company Impact has some "newer" space age fabric he claims is much safer. I've seen him on fire on TV with it.  May want to give it a look.  Gook Luck

I just sent measurements, and credit card number to Deist.. I'm having an eyeball to match the bad tatoo on my arm stitched into it.. Wife hit the roof! Then I reminded her that her wedding dress cost $2000.00 bucks! Nough said.. Then I told her she was going to wear it too.. Thats when it hit her that she was going to get to play too!

That's Funny!  On March 1st you were going to by a Diest or Simpson. On April 2nd you have new Stroud.  Share with us what happened.  Timing, Price, Etc.?

Mine came in at $1950.00.. I guess I could have gotten it cheaper if I did'nt have more cloth than a sail in it... Plus the eyeball cost me.
I have a brother in law that said he could have gotten it cheaper  ;)
