I'm starting this new topic so we've got a place for discussing the meet - and for letting you know that we plan to stream the audio this weekend.  Gregg is headed that way and will run the hardware - and might be experimenting with video.  I'm not saying that he'll broadcast any pictures, but just letting you know that he'll be goofing around and trying to see how the system would work, and if he does get it going -- there might just be a bit of farkling on the audio stream.  Don't worry -- it should be okay in a couple of seconds.  That's what he or I will tell you when you ask.

As usual we'll put a separate link up for the stream.  It'll be here in the Forum and also on the home page, I suspect.  I hope you enjoy the sounds, and if one of you (or more) knows of someone or a company or three that would like to sponsor the streaming - to help pay for it - PLEASE have 'em get in touch with me.  Streaming all year needs sponsors, too -- not just this event.  Thanks.

We're all meeting for Won Tons at Panda Express.

Just kidding - the Wilmington, Ohio ECTA event.

I'm catching up with Gregg when I get there, so we'll have 2 audio geeks on site.

Geez, you guys abbreviate so many other events that I thought last years' abb. for Wilmington - Wton - would still be okay.  but since it obviously isn't I'll go back and change the topic's title.  Sorry for the cornfusion.

Mike

Not going to Loring this weekend but will be there for the July meet.

I will be in Wilmington next weekend for the May meet, also in June and September.

Have not decided if I'm going out West in August or September.
All meets that I go to this year will have audio streaming and possibly video as well!

Gregg

Maybe we should rename the event the ECTA Wilmington Speed Trials, then Jon will have something to abbreviate to an acronym... ECTAWST so he can save 3 to 6 keystrokes and everyone can understand...
